MetroMind launched its core AI traffic platform on July 1 with a live demo at a pop-up event on Sukhumvit Soi 24 that attracted 180 participants.
The platform processes real-time data from 12,000 sensors installed along major corridors to predict congestion 45 minutes ahead and reroute delivery fleets. This matters now because Bangkok's transport authority recorded 1.4 million extra vehicle hours lost to jams in the first half of 2026 amid ongoing expressway repairs.
Local hubs hosting the July sessions
MetroMind will run three follow-up meetups at True Digital Park on Sukhumvit Soi 101 and at the coworking floor of the Stock Exchange of Thailand building on Ratchadaphisek Road. The sessions focus on integrating open APIs from the platform with existing ride-hailing and logistics systems used by firms operating out of those two sites.
Registration data released by the company shows 420 sign-ups so far for the July 18 session at True Digital Park, where participants will test a beta module that cuts simulated delivery times by 22 percent on routes between Bang Na and the port area. Ticket prices stand at 350 baht, with proceeds directed to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration's smart-city pilot fund.

Developers can download the sandbox environment from the MetroMind site before the next event and bring sample datasets from their own operations. The final July session on the 29th will include a direct line to BMA engineers for feedback on scaling the system beyond the initial 50-kilometre test corridor.
